The Paris-based members of Roots Heritage have dug deep into the roots of Jamaican reggae music : maroon, carnival music, mento and rock-steady. They’ve turned it upside-down adding vituoso jazz solos and superb master dub versions courtesy of the Mad Professor & Joe Ariwa at the legendary Ariwa Studios in London. Ariwa first opened its doors in 1979 and has gone on to record the biggest names on the reggae scene.
